The CNMI Innovation Incubator Program, an initiative of Northern Marianas College, is proud to announce that it has received 46 applications from aspiring entrepreneurs across Saipan, Tinian, and Rota for its upcoming cohort. This strong response reflects a growing interest in innovation and a renewed entrepreneurial spirit throughout the Commonwealth.
The application period ran from May 19 to June 15, 2025, and attracted a diverse group of individuals representing various industries—including technology, food and hospitality, health and wellness, creative arts, and more. Each applicant is eager to take advantage of the incubator’s unique resources, tailored to support startups in navigating the distinct challenges of doing business in the CNMI.
“We’re thrilled to see such an overwhelming response from motivated individuals who want to take their businesses to the next level,” said Cherese Palacios, Program Manager of the CNMI Innovation Incubator. “This program continues to demonstrate the incredible potential that exists right here in our islands.”
A panel of respected community leaders and business professionals will carefully review each application using a structured scoring system. Selected participants will be those who best align with the program’s mission and are poised to benefit most from its support. Final selections will be announced later this month.
