As part of its continued support of higher education in the CNMI, Crowne Plaza Resort Saipan has pledged a $10,000 hole-in-one cash prize for the 2026 NMC Golf Open, supporting scholarships, facilities, and workforce development initiatives across the CNMI.
“Crowne Plaza Resort Saipan is proud to support Northern Marianas College and the students who are working toward a brighter future,” said Clayton Darlington, General Manager of Crowne Plaza Resort Saipan. “The NMC Golf Open is a great way for the private sector and the community to come together in support of education and long-term growth in the CNMI.”
The NMC Golf Open will be a two-day tournament, with a registration fee of $250 per player.
“The success of the NMC Golf Open is made possible through the generosity of partners like Crowne Plaza Resort Saipan,” said Ben Babauta, Chairperson of the NMC Foundation. “Their generosity directly supports our efforts to expand educational access and invest in facilities and programs that serve students across the Commonwealth.”
The tournament, which is the signature fundraising event of the NMC Foundation, aims to raise funds to build and equip modern, innovative campus facilities that will help expand the CNMI’s workforce development efforts, stimulate economic growth, and provide greater access to quality education for residents of the CNMI.
