Continuing its support for higher education in the CNMI, Docomo Pacific has contributed $5,000 in ETC and in-kind donations, including an Apple iPhone 17 Pro Max, to the Northern Marianas College Foundation as a Gold Sponsor of the upcoming NMC Golf Open, scheduled for March 21 and 22, 2026.
“Docomo Pacific is committed to supporting initiatives that help students build skills for the future and strengthen our island communities,” said Brent Deleon Guerrero, Brand Manager of Docomo Pacific. “The NMC Golf Open brings partners together in a meaningful way to invest in education and opportunity in the CNMI.”
The NMC Golf Open will be a two-day tournament with a registration fee of $250 per player.
“We are grateful to Docomo Pacific for their support of the NMC Golf Open,” said Ben Babauta, Chairperson of the NMC Foundation. “Their contribution helps us continue serving our students and our community.”
The tournament, which is the signature fundraising event of the NMC Foundation, aims to raise funds to build and equip modern, innovative campus facilities that will help expand the CNMI’s workforce development efforts, stimulate economic growth, and provide greater access to quality education for residents of the CNMI.
