The CNMI Area Health Education Center (AHEC) is dedicated to improving healthcare access by increasing the number and enhancing the diversity of healthcare professionals. It operates as a collaborative initiative between the University of Hawaii and Northern Marianas College, and provides training programs and resources tailored to the needs of future healthcare professionals. AHEC serves as a hub for expanding the availability of well-trained, culturally competent healthcare providers in rural communities.
The CNMI Area Health Education Center (AHEC) operates as a sub-awardee of the Hawai‘i/Pacific Basin Area Health Education Center Program.
