The Marianas weather more storms than most places will ever see.
In the past decade, NMC's Saipan campus has taken three direct hits from super typhoons. Soudelor in 2015. Yutu in 2018, the strongest storm in CNMI history. And now, Sinlaku.
Each time, students, faculty, and staff have come back. They've cleared debris, salvaged equipment, taught in tents, and kept showing up for each other.
But every storm takes a piece of the campus with it. Roofing weakened by repeated hits. Power infrastructure that fails when we need it most. Buildings designed to a different era's expectations.
Recovery is the first step. Rebuilding for the next storm is the second. Your gift funds both.
