In support of funding higher education in the CNMI, radio station Magic 100.3 recently donated $5,000 worth of radio advertisements to the Northern Marianas College Foundation to help with its marketing efforts for their upcoming Golf Open in March. 

Paradiso Resort & Spa is the latest company to sign on as a Northern Marianas College ProaPerks Partner, joining many other businesses and organizations. All card-carrying members of the NMC ProaPerks program can now receive five free swimming pool passes per month.

Northern Marianas College together with the University of Guam Press will announce the official launch of their newly established imprint, Proa Publications, and its first book, “A Marianas Mosaic: Signs and Shifts in Contemporary Island Life” this coming Feb. 3, 2023 at the NMI Museum.  

Northern Marianas College education majors Annel Ligaya and Jonas Metran recently joined the long list of NMC students who passed the Praxis II exam. The Praxis II assesses an educator’s knowledge in a specific subject area or grade level that they will be teaching. 

Marianas Variety News and Views, a longtime supporter of higher education in the CNMI, has donated $5,000 in advertising support to help the Northern Marianas College Foundation promote its upcoming Golf Open in March. 

Northern Marianas College nursing graduates Jeanelyn Gomez, Minjung Kim, and Michaela Gariguez recently joined the list of students who have passed the challenging National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses or NCLEX-RN. All three graduates graduated from NMC’s nursing program in 2022.
