Northern Marianas College recently partnered with the Governor's Council of Economic Advisors to advance the Adopt-A-Median campaign. Earlier this week NMC President Dr. Galvin Deleon Guerrero, together with NMC’s Board of Regents, Gov. Ralph DLG Torres, Senate President Jude U. Hofschneider, Speaker Edmund S. Villagomez and Tan Holdings President Jerry Tan signed the agreement to adopt the Chalan Monsignor Guerrero medians.
The Adopt-A-Median campaign was created to foster partnerships throughout the community to transform the islands’ tourism products and village facilities and improve their sustainability and maintenance by allowing interested partners to adopt medians, curbs, and sidewalks and give them a proper and overdue facelift.
