The CNMI Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Network is pleased to announce the relocation of its Lead Center office from the Northern Marianas College (NMC) As Terlaje Campus to its new temporary location at 3290 Beach Road Plaza, Unit #11 on Beach Road, Garapan, Saipan.
The relocation comes in preparation of NMC’s construction of its four new structures set to begin before the end of the year, separate from NMC’s flagship building, the Proa Union Building. The Proa Union Building, formerly known as the NMC Student Center, will be hosting its Ribbon Cutting in the Fall of 2025 while the highly anticipated Workforce Development and Training Center at the As Terlaje Campus, will be one of four new buildings expected to break ground before the end of the year. Once completed, the new facility will serve as a hub for advancing workforce readiness and entrepreneurial growth in the CNMI, which will include space carved out for the permanent location of the CNMI SBDC Network’s Lead Center office in Saipan.
“While construction is underway, our team at the CNMI SBDC remains steadfast in our commitment to serving our small business community with convenience and without interruption,” said Nadine Deleon Guerrero Kintol, Network Director of the CNMI SBDCN. “This temporary relocation ensures that our entrepreneurs and partners continue to have easy access to the advising, training, and resources they rely on as they start, grow, and strengthen their businesses.”
The CNMI SBDC Network continues to provide confidential, no-cost business advising, training and technical assistance to entrepreneurs across the Northern Mariana Islands. Services are available to both established business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs in areas such as business planning, marketing, financial management, federal contracting, and innovation support.
The Beach Road Plaza office will serve as the Lead Center’s operational base until the Workforce Development and Training Center at NMC’s As Terlaje campus is complete. The Tinian SBDC and Rota SBDC Service Centers will continue to remain at their respective NMC Centers.
