The Northern Marianas College (NMC) Cooperative Research, Extension, and Education Services (CREES) launched its redesigned website, offering a modernized, more accessible, and user-friendly platform for the community on Monday, March 17, 2025.

Located at crees.marianas.edu, the revamped website features a fresh design that aligns with the main NMC website (marianas.edu), while also prioritizing functionality and inclusivity.

With accessibility as a top priority, the new CREES website includes customizable features such as text size adjustments, color inversion, and various cursor styles, ensuring that users of all abilities can navigate the platform comfortably. The streamlined navigation system further enhances user experience, making it easier to find essential information quickly.

The launch of the new NMC-CREES website comes as part of the department’s ongoing commitment to empowering the residents of the CNMI by providing easy access to valuable resources and programs. Visitors to the website can now seamlessly explore the wide range of services offered by NMC-CREES, including agriculture education, environmental sustainability, food safety training, youth development programs, and more.

“We look forward to more engagement from our community through the enhanced CREES website interface. Thank you to our media team who had to learn how to build the website themselves and did so despite competing priorities and other challenges,”  stated Patty Coleman, Interim Dean of NMC-CREES.

As the research and extension arm of Northern Marianas College, CREES is dedicated to addressing local needs through research, community engagement, and educational initiatives. From enhancing regenerative food security to promoting healthy living and supporting economic development, NMC-CREES’s vision is a CNMI where people can grow, lead, and age, with health and dignity.

The website also provides users with up-to-date information on upcoming events, contact details for all CREES personnel from Rota, Tinian, and Saipan, and educational materials that serve both the general public and professionals in the agriculture, natural resources, and food science sectors.

Through this new digital hub, NMC-CREES strengthens its ability to connect with the community, ensuring that residents have the resources needed to make informed decisions, contribute to regenerative efforts to enhance their quality of life.

Community members are invited to visit the new NMC-CREES website at crees.marianas.edu to explore programs, access resources, and stay informed about upcoming events.
