The Beta Lambda Psi Chapter of Northern Marianas College’s Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society recently inducted 65 new members on Wednesday, September 29, 2021.

Sixty-five students from Northern Marianas College pledged to distinguish themselves through academic excellence by contributing to the community and the Commonwealth through various community service and leadership activities as new members and officers of the Beta Lambda Psi Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa or PTK International Honor Society.

If you’re interested in an internship opportunity, applications for the NMC Hatsa IOA-LSAMP Internship Program is now open to enrolled students at Northern Marianas College as a science major, and an underrepresented minority (URM) student in particular African Americans, Hispanic Americans, American Indians, Alaska Natives, Native Hawaiians, and Native Pacific Islanders.

Strengthening Partnerships. Last Wednesday, Northern Marianas College President Galvin Deleon Guerrero (left) met with Northern Marianas Technical Institute Interim Chief Executive Officer Jodina Attao (right) to discuss workforce development initiatives. NMC and NMTI continue to prioritize meeting the workforce needs of the CNMI.

At 10:00am, the CNMI Homeland Security and Emergency Management Agency issued the "All Clear" for the islands of Saipan, Tinian, and Rota. Please see the attached bulletin regarding Tropical Storm Mindulle. 

With this "All Clear" declaration, classes for Saturday, September 25, 2021, will resume as scheduled and all NMC campuses will reopen on Monday, September 27, 2021. Changes to this announcement, if any, will be promptly announced.
