2021 Northern Marianas College nursing graduates Mariol Lopez, Francheska Fauni, Philip Alejo, and Xiao Fei Yang have passed the rigorous National Council Licensure Examination, or NCLEX, on their first attempt taking the test.

Northern Marianas College students recently elected new officers to the college’s student government body, or the Associated Students of NMC. The new officers are: Alyssa Attao, President; Gerald Crisostomo Jr., Vice-President; Jefferson Cunanan, Secretary; Duncan Laxa, Treasurer; and Maritoni Duarte and Eloise Lopez as senators. 

THE 36 students who, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, had to stop attending adult vocational high school classes at the former Northern Marianas Trade Institute, will now have the opportunity to complete the program, thanks to the partnership between Northern Marianas College and the Northern Marianas Technical Institute.

As part of its ongoing effort to recognize and acknowledge the hard work of its employees, Northern Marianas College recently named the recipients of its 2021 Annual PROA Employee Awards. The awards recognize employees’ outstanding performance, contribution to NMC, and their commitment to student learning. 

Northern Marianas College’s University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities is asking CNMI residents to complete a Community UCEDD Needs Assessment to assess the resources for the next five-year grant cycle.
