Northern Marianas College employees will be participating in professional development activities on Thursday, August 10, and Friday, August 11, 2023.  

As part of the Northern Marianas College’s efforts to bolster the workforce and provide quality educators for the local community, NMC’s Community Development Institute and School of Education, along with the CNMI Public School System’s Career and Technical Education Program have helped pave the way for numerous high school students looking to become teachers and counselors through its ongoing Teacher Academy Program.

Northern Marianas College nursing graduates Crystal Delos Reyes, Pearl Lauritzen, and Claudilyn Lacbayo have joined the long list of NMC students who have passed the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses or NCLEX-RN.

While it is not uncommon for Northern Marianas College graduates to wear many hats – there’s one graduate who stands out as an extraordinary example of resilience and determination.

Northern Marianas College (NMC) and the CNMI Public School System (PSS) have partnered to launch an exciting and innovative initiative, Cinema on Saipan: Movie Making in the Marianas, a program aimed at nurturing the creative talents of high school students.

Employers and human resources professionals looking to strengthen their knowledge in personnel and staff management are invited to attend a free training session hosted by the CNMI Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at the Northern Marianas College (NMC).
