Residents of the Commonwealth looking to pursue higher educational opportunities in the fields of food, agriculture, natural resources, and human sciences may be able to do so at little to no cost as part of the newest scholarship program hosted by Northern Marianas College’s Cooperative Research, Extension, and Education Services (NMC-CREES).

To ensure the highest standards of excellence and preparedness among NMC nursing students, Northern Marianas College’s Nursing Department has increased the grade point average requirement from 2.50 to 3.00 for admission into the College’s nursing program for the Fall 2024 Admission Cohort.

Northern Marianas College nursing graduate Paulaine Sasamoto joins the long list of NMC students who have passed the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses or NCLEX-RN.

Northern Marianas College (NMC) Associate Professor William Fife recently participated in a webinar panel hosted by the American Bar Association (ABA) Section of Civil Rights and Social Justice, and discussed new perspectives and solutions to the unique challenges faced by Americans in U.S. territories, including the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (CNMI).  The webinar’s title was, “125 Years of Empire: Examining the Separate and Unequal Status of U.S. Territories.”
