(Tinian, MP) – Tinian ranchers recently had a chance to discuss agri-industry initiatives with members of the CNMI Small Business Development Center at the Northern Marianas College (CNMI SBDC-NMC) and the International Economic Development Council (IEDC).

A transformative experience awaited 180 young individuals from Saipan as they gathered for 4-H Marianas’s Camp Maga’lahi. Spanning from June 12 to June 24, the collaboration between the Northern Marianas College's Cooperative Research, Extension, and Education Services Family, Community, and Youth Development program (NMC-CREES FCYD) and 4-H Marianas aimed to immerse participants in indigenous culture, marine environments, and healthy eating practices.

(Tinian, MP) – The Tinian Small Business Development Center at the Northern Marianas College Tinian Center will be hosting “Tinian Small Business Night- Christmas in July” on Thursday, July 27, 2023 from 5pm-8pm at the Tinian Fiesta Grounds. This is a locally powered shopping event featuring both seasoned and upcoming local entrepreneurs and their products and services. This event kicks off the back-to-school season and a headstart on the much anticipated holiday shopping season. The community is invited for a night of food, entertainment, and fun.

Joining thousands of Northern Marianas College grads who are taking on leadership positions in the community, NMC graduate Maria Atrero was recently promoted to the position of Medical-Surgical Nursing Unit Manager at the Commonwealth Healthcare Corporation. 

As part of the ongoing efforts to provide local farmers with technical assistance, the CNMI Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at the Northern Marianas College recently partnered up with the International Economic Development Council (IEDC) to discuss agri-industry initiatives for the CNMI.

College students who are looking to access federal financial aid for the Northern Marianas College’s upcoming Fall and Spring semester are encouraged to file a 2023-2024 Free Application for Federal Student Aid or FAFSA.
