Northern Marianas College nursing graduates Julyann Garcia and Sheryl Alazar have joined the long list of NMC graduates who passed the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses or NCLEX-RN.

Furusato Restaurant is the latest company to sign on as a Northern Marianas College ProaPerks Partner, joining many other businesses and organizations. All card-carrying members of the NMC ProaPerks program can now receive 1 scoop of ice cream when you dine in.

Hannah Isabel Shai, an extension agent for the Nutrition and Health Program under Northern Marianas College’s Cooperative Research, Extension, and Education Services, has been selected by the Children's Healthy Living Program (CHL) to be the CNMI scholar for the CHL Food Systems Training Program (CHL FST). Specifically, Shai will work towards obtaining her Ph.D in Nutritional Sciences. 

In collaboration with the Commonwealth Healthcare Corporation (CHCC) and the Governor’s COVID-19 Task Force, the College has continued to implement protocols to protect the health and safety of the entire Proa Tribe. These protocols have included mandatory vaccinations for students and employees, sanitation stations placed throughout the campus, social distancing practices, and other measures. 

Individuals who participate in Northern Marianas College’s upcoming info session on Friday, June 10, 2022 will qualify to have their NMC Fall 2022 admission application fee and placement test fees waived. The waiver represents a savings of up to $75.
