As you may have read, there have been three individuals in our community who have tested positive for Covid-19. Based on information from the Governor’s Covid-19 Task Force, the individuals are currently being monitored and are in a designated quarantine site.

Micafe Snack Bar is the latest company to sign on as a Northern Marianas College ProaPerks Partner, joining many other businesses and organizations. All card-carrying members of the NMC ProaPerks program can now receive a 10% discount on food and beverages.

Two former Northern Marianas College students who are now University of Guam Reserve Officers' Training Corps Cadets were selected to join nine other UOG Cadets to travel to Oregon to compete in the 8th Brigade ROTC Ranger Challenge Competition. 

As part of Northern Marianas College’s expanding efforts to meet workforce needs, NMC Community Development Institute Director Maria Valentina Haberman on Tuesday addressed members of the Saipan Rotary Club about the apprenticeship program.

The Northern Marianas College’s Cooperative Research, Extension, and Education Services (CREES) was recently awarded $620,000 as part of a $10 million grant from the United States Department of Agriculture to study simulations to identify and test drivers of resiliency in food supply chains for decreasing food waste and increasing food and nutrition security, healthful diets and health among children.
