Northern Marianas College on Wednesday signed an agreement with the University of Memphis to advance their partnership that aims to benefit CNMI students who want to earn  advanced college degrees.

Northern Marianas College on Wednesday signed an agreement with the University of Memphis to advance their partnership that aims to benefit CNMI students who want to earn  advanced college degrees. Among other things, the agreement “fosters institutional cooperation by providing for the articulation of courses and transfer credits, the exchange of college resources and scholarship opportunities, student exchange opportunities, and the exchange of technical and administrative assistance.”

Coral Ocean Resort Saipan is now a proud NMC ProaPerks partner. More information about their special promotion for ProaPerks card holders can be found at marianas.edu/proaperks.

Coral Ocean Resort Saipan is the latest company to sign on as a Northern Marianas College ProaPerks Partner, joining many other businesses and organizations. All card-carrying members of the NMC ProaPerks program can now receive:

  • A exclusive special room only rate of $149 (tax inclusive)
  • A 50% discount on the dinner menu (food only) with a room rate of $169.00 (tax inclusive) per night with a maximum capacity of 4 adults (no extra bed provided) for March – June 2022
  • A 5% discount for room stay from July 2022 to February 2023
Board of Regents meet on Tinian

Northern Marianas College regents held their quarterly board meeting on Tinian recently. While there, they toured the Tinian Kualidåt Meat Processing Center which has been certified by the U.S. Department of Agriculture through a collaboration between NMC’s Cooperative Research, Extension, and Education Services, the Commonwealth Economic Development Authority, and the Tinian Mayor’s Office.
