The CNMI Innovation Incubator Program, an initiative of Northern Marianas College, is proud to announce that it has received 46 applications from aspiring entrepreneurs across Saipan, Tinian, and Rota for its upcoming cohort. This strong response reflects a growing interest in innovation and a renewed entrepreneurial spirit throughout the Commonwealth.

Northern Marianas College is inviting all community members interested in advancing their careers and furthering their education to attend a free information session on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at the Olympio T. Borja Library on NMC’s As Terlaje campus.

Northern Marianas College nursing graduates Leana Cristobal and Stephanie Lumbad have joined the ranks of many NMC students by successfully passing the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN). Both are members of NMC’s Class of 2024.

As you may have learned, Northern Marianas College president Galvin Deleon Guerrero, EdD, has announced that he is running for elected office in the November 2026 election. Due to the potential impact this may have on the College, the Board of Regents is communicating with you steps we are taking to ensure that the College complies with all applicable policies and procedures and continues to fulfill its mission, vision, and strategic master plan.

In a strategic move to strengthen the Commonwealth’s food system and expand economic opportunities for local farmers, the Northern Marianas College Cooperative Research, Extension, and Education Services (NMC-CREES) Agriculture Production program is cultivating seven new sweet potato varieties for eventual commercial distribution in the CNMI.
